Hello, I’m Claudia

My Story – why makeup & hair
My journey to becoming a make-up artist began with an invaluable five years working for The Body Shop as a make-up consultant and deputy manager. Anita Roddick; a truly inspirational woman! Using cruelty free and sustainable products are still important to me. I discovered how make-up plays such an important role in our well-being and the boost it gives to our self-confidence – no need for Botox or cosmetic surgery!
Makeup to me is a moving work of art. The way it transforms a face or body fascinates me – creativity is boundless! Not only does it give importance and impact to whatever the creative brief may be, but also how it makes you feel. Hair really finishes off a look and brings everything together.
All this has inspired me to further develop my artistic nature to where I am today.

About my business
Across the South West of England and beyond, I’ve been incredibly privileged to have collaborated with a wealth of talented creative crew, actors, musicians and well established photographers. I’ve acquired a depth of invaluable experience, which is reflected in my extensive portfolio. People, places, food, just about anything can influence and inspire my ideas – I just love being creative!
Inspired by my Italian roots – I studied Fashion & Textile Design aspiring to recreate a chic, stylish and elegant beauty in every look and feel I created. This foundation continues to play an important role in my work today. I often help with styling, costume and prop making on a personal or professional level. It’s amazing when a design concept comes alive!
Along with my makeup kit, I always pack my professional, inspirational, calm and friendly approach to my work.

I love getting creative!
Realising that I had more creativity to unleash, in 1999, I completed a VTCT in Theatrical Media Make-up Artist – achieving two awards for the National Body Painting competition in London and Birmingham. Competing in the World Body Painting festival in Austria in 2006 was an incredible experience. In more recent years, I’ve won 1st place at the Body Factory UK competition in 2014, an amazing achievement that reflected a move up from 3rd place the year before.
My passion continues to transform many faces, bodies and now walls. More recently, my creativity has expanded into bespoke murals for homes, work spaces, offices, schools. Any space that needs a brightening up with a unique piece of artwork.
