What I love about face painting is the challenge of what you are asked to do, from popular designs like butterflies, spiderman to more unusual ones like angry bird! Adult faces are really great fun too, with more space to be creative and always good to be young at heart. Continue reading “Bristol Face Painting”
Hello, it has certainly been a while! I can’t believe this year will be 17 years I’ve been a freelance makeup artist and can truly say it’s flown by. The industry has definitely changed,; it goes without saying the impact of social media has had in how we all communicate. Coming from the old school, pre-digital age, I can just about keep up!
Being a creative, I love exploring other avenues and challenging myself. I’ve recently returned to my fashion/styling roots and expanded to Visual Merchandising Design. I’m throughly enjoying this new creativity, along side my makeup and body art. My main client is Tailored Flooring, on Chandos Road, Bristol, a high end flooring supplies. With the opening of their new showroom last year, this has given me the opportunity to showcase their beautiful, high quality products. Also to come, my entry of Body Factory at the stunning Eden Project.
Where has this year gone already…?! Not sure but realised it’s been a while since my last blog. I wanted to share a few success stories so far that I was pretty chuffed with. At the beginning of the year I was very pleased to have won top make-up artist at Clifton Photographic Studio, where have now worked for 13 years! Continue reading “Claudia Lucia’s Publications 2015”
I can’t quite believe I’m coming into my 14th year of being freelance, where has the time gone? Revisiting my passion for body painting, must have been my biggest challenge; pushing my creative boundaries and loving it! Met some incredible artists in the body painting world. Another highlight, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with inspiring photographer, writer & teacher Damien Lovegrove Continue reading “Claudia Lucia’s Highlights of 2013 – New for 2014”
Autumn is definately here. A few new snazzy garments to my wardrobe always helps to perk up the winter blues. A 1940?s twist to hair and make-up, compliments the vintage style purple maxi dress which is just one of the many beautiful dresses you can find at Anusha. Colour palette for make-up: warm greys, rich purple and a touch of antique gold. I love Mac ‘ Dark side’ lipstick, for sultry lips. Rich plums/ blood reds are colours to look out for the party season.
