Where has this year gone already…?! Not sure but realised it’s been a while since my last blog. I wanted to share a few success stories so far that I was pretty chuffed with. At the beginning of the year I was very pleased to have won top make-up artist at Clifton Photographic Studio, where have now worked for 13 years! A far few faces to have made up & transformed. Come Spring time, I worked on another great collaboration with the team at Tailored Flooring. The advert was published in a local magazine, Clifton Life.

I made a stencil from the design which I then had to strategically place in line with the design, not easy on a contoured canvas! Mixed a few colours together to match the runner, using one of my favourites pro brands, Mehron aqua-paints. Took me about 4 hours. Image by Ewelina, Karezona Photography and gorgeous model/dancer Joy Clarke. The ‘QuirkyB’ runner was designed by Margo Selby.

In March, I was very excited to have received an email to say, that one of my images was chosen to feature in the Gallery section in the Spring issue of Illusion magazine, an international magazine for face & body painters. The image chosen was my winning piece from Body FactoryUK 2014 , ‘Any Fin Can Happen’. Shot on the beautiful beaches in Cornwall, a bonus that I took the image!

More recently, I had the pleasure to work for St,George’s Bristol on their new Autumn promo, with fine art photographer Charles Emerson. I highly recommend watching a performance in this stunning former Georgian church, now acoustically renowned concert  venue & recording studio.

So pleased to see this beautiful shot on the front cover issue August 22. Image by Damien Lovegrove  when we worked on his Hollywood style Lighting workshop. Fabulous model, Hellen Diaz.

Already in the pipeline, with body art I will be celebrating Bristol Green Capital, an Autumn shoot with Tailored Flooring and  come October, Body Factory UK once again.  This year the international competition will held in the beautiful grounds of the Eden Project – can’t wait!
